Highways

On behalf of National Highways, Kier Highways has built a 4.85km long dual two-lane carriageway bypass from Windy Harbour Junction to the Skippool Junction. It aims to reduce congestion, increase economic growth and improve the safety of pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists around the existing A585 carriageway. Our involvement in this project was to build a series of acoustic barrier walls.

Common Edge Sports Facility, Blackpool for PJM

Located within the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone, the Common Edge Community Sports Village debuted in 2023, marking the completion of its initial phase of development. With an investment of £6 million, the village has become a central hub for sports enthusiasts in the region, featuring six changing rooms, two officials’ rooms, two kitchens, and a large community room. This pavilion serves as a focal point for players and visitors, providing essential amenities and communal spaces. the build used Blockleys Synthesis S17 for a blend of dark blacks and eye-catching greys. The smooth tones help Common Edge to present a modern aesthetic with protruding brickwork elements lending themselves to the unique design of the project

Blackpool Zoo Tysons

Big Cat Habitat, which cost £1.5 million,
It combined increased indoor space and management area with extended external paddocks and improved keeper facilities, each side of the house has a large indoor area including heated mock rocks and intended viewing windows.

Taco Bell – ASPC UK

A 2 Storey fast food chain restaurant with space for up to 52 diners in the large upstairs seating area on Rigby Road, Blackpool.

Costa Coffee – TJM Projects Ltd.

A Costa Coffee Drive Through. The former Pizza Hut on site have to be demolished before construction work could begin, the new Costa is smaller than the former Pizza Hut, Compromising of brick and blockwork with a steel-clad facing.

Coop Lambs Road ACS Midlands

A stand-alone 4,000 sqft convenience store together with 15 car parking spaces in conjunction with Central Co-op. The new store, which will sit to the east of Lambs Road, will benefit from passing traffic and will bring a greatly needed amenity to the Kingsley Manor development and surrounding area.

A new build Homes England funded development of 75 houses & apartments in Blackpool for Blackpool Council.

Grange Park Tysons

A £20 million project, consisting of the construction of 96 affordable houses, 5 bungalows and 30 sheltered apartments.
